Rebranding a staple in a restaurant scene is a tough maneuver. You can’t completely drop the years of brand awareness completely, but you can’t stay the same either. It takes a skilled hand to guide the rebranding of a long-standing restaurant experience. Once such hand is that of the design maven, Kelli Anderson. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because we covered her brilliant work for The Munchery branding and package design.

The rebranding of Russ & Daughters takes a fresh approach to a classic identity. By staying true to the roots and only simplifying and cleaning up the image, Ms. Anderson is able to hold onto the nostalgia while bringing Russ & Daughters into a better position for the future.
